How do you write a Architect resume?

What should stand out on an architect's resume?

An architecture resume is the gateway to your portfolio. Showing your projects in detail is the job of the portfolio; the job of the CV is to state briefly and clearly which roles you undertook in which projects and what tools you worked with.

Which template?

Atlas: two columns. Left column features software, skills, and portfolio link; the right features experience and projects.

Suggested section order

Personal info and portfolio link → Summary → Experience → Selected projects → Education → Software and skills → Languages. Put the portfolio link in a visible place.

How should you write projects?

For each project: project name and type, scale, your role (concept, construction drawing, drafting, site), project duration, and tools used. Respect the team you worked with and the employer's confidentiality terms; do not share unpublished projects without permission.

Software and tools

List drafting, modeling, and presentation software on a separate line; only write the ones you actually use.
